Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care for hospice patients. This full-time role offers hourly pay between $18.75 and $22.00 based on experience; candidates must be able to work every other weekend and two holidays per year.

You will assist with daily living activities, implement care plans under an RN, travel to patient homes, document care, and collaborate with a caring team.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ CHHA certification.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Caring for hospice patients in private homes and/or healthcare facilities.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, meals, ambulation, repositioning.
• Implementing plan of care under the directive of a registered nurse.
• Performing light housekeeping in patient area only, when needed.
• Documenting patient care in electronic software.
• Ability to travel to patient homes and facilities as assigned.
• Represent Samaritan in a positive manner to patients, families and community.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality, expert care of your assigned hospice patients. This full-time opportunity offers between $18.75 - $22.00 per hour based on years of experience. Must be able to work every other weekend and 2 holidays per year.

• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team:
