Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create customized splints, and develop recovery plans within a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities include orthotic fabrication, post-surgical rehab, edema management, and return-to-work strategies. Licensure in the state and CHT credential are required, with CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care.
• Provide interventions for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
• Document OT services delivered.
• Supervise aides, students, and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate on custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis care and precautions.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehab cases including scar management and edema control.
• Coordinate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other therapists.
• Participate in care planning and case discussions.
