Job summary

HOPCo in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (CHT) to join our on-site team. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive therapy, coordinating with the rehab team, and guiding patients through personalized activity programs to restore function and independence.

This full-time position requires licensure in Wisconsin, BLS, and CHT certification, with opportunities to mentor assistants and contribute to high-quality patient care within a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Occupational Therapy degree (Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate).
• Licenses: Wisconsin OT license, BLS, Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
• Experience: outpatient orthopedic clinic preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT services per protocols and guidelines.
• Continuously document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Schedule patients and assist with front desk duties as needed.
• Supervise OT assistants and clinical aides per state act.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehab team to coordinate care.
• Develop individualized therapy programs to restore function and independence.
• Promote adherence to plans of care and home exercise programs.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with company policies.
