Job summary

OSCW/ HOPCo in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in an outpatient clinic setting, aligning with established clinical protocols and plans of care.

The role includes timely documentation, patient scheduling, supervising assistants, coordinating with physicians and the rehabilitation team, and developing individualized activity programs to restore function and promote independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Occupational Therapy License in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
• BLS Certification Required
• Certified Hand Therapy License
• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic OT clinic preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive patient care following protocols and guidelines.
• Completes timely, compliant clinical documentation (evaluations, progress notes, reports).
• Ensures patients are treated promptly and adheres to plans of care.
• Supervises and delegates duties to OT assistants and clinical aides.
• Collaborates with physicians and rehabilitation team to coordinate care.
• Develops and implements individualized therapeutic activity programs.
• Performs patient scheduling and front desk functions as needed.
