Job summary

Gilchrist Automotive in Houston is hiring a full-time Automotive Technician to diagnose mechanical issues, perform multi-point inspections, and complete safety-oriented repairs on the first attempt.

You will service transmissions, air-conditioning, engine mounts, timing belts, radiators, and related components, while delivering cars promptly and documenting inspections to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability.
• 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• Experience at an automotive school or program preferred.
• Dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform safety-oriented repairs.
• Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs.
• Service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, belts, radiators, and related components.
• Deliver guests’ cars on time and maintain detailed notes.
• Keep workstations clean and maintain guest relationships.
