Job summary

Gilchrist Automotive is seeking a hands-on Automotive Technician to diagnose mechanical issues, perform repairs, and conduct multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability. You will service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and more while maintaining detailed inspection notes and a clean workstation.

Deliver vehicles on time and foster guest relationships. Your role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork with a positive, team-minded attitude and a commitment

Qualifications

• Completion of an automotive program or school.
• 2-3 years of dealership experience preferred.
• Automotive certificate or ASE certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs correctly the first time.
• Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs.
• Service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and more.
• Replace radiators and head gaskets.
• Deliver cars on time and keep notes during inspections.
• Maintain clean workstation and build guest relationships.
