Gilchrist Automotive is seeking a dedicated Sales Professional to greet showroom guests and manage vehicle demonstrations. You will guide customers through product features, warranties, and paperwork, ensuring a smooth sales experience. A team-oriented, service-driven mindset is essential.

The role offers full-time hours in a busy dealership, with opportunities to grow through training and advancement. A valid license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in showroom and sales lot and offer tailored assistance.
• Coordinate test drives and collect IDs prior to drives.
• Deliver vehicles and explain features, warranty, and paperwork to customers.
• Maintain confidential customer data in the dealership system.
• Assist in writing sales orders and process paperwork per policy.
• Schedule tests, deliveries, and appointments with buyers.
• Support team to maintain a positive, productive work environment.

As a Sales Professional, you’re one of the most important team members at Gilchrist Automotive. You will handle all in-person guests with vehicle purchases in the show room and sales lot. You will strive to increase customer retention by providing genuine service and fully explaining product performance and the benefits to each guest. We’re looking for a team player with an outgoing, customer-service approach to daily responsibilities. This is a great entry point for a career with us, for someone who already has customer service or a general sales background (like electronics, appliances, real estate, B2B, marketing, etc.)What You’ll Do:Greet and offer tailored assistance to guests who enter the dealership showroom or sales lotOffer test drives and obtain proper identification from all prospects prior to the driveDeliver vehicles to customers and ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperworkMaintain confidential customer information on a Dealership Management System.Assist in writing complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with the dealership’s policies and proceduresIntroduce customers to the Sales Managers for an opportunity to meet with managementSchedule appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehiclesDrive yourself and the team to maintain a super work environment and get better every dayWhat You’ll Need:Full-time availability.
