Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Sarnova Forklift Certification required or provided prior to operating equipment
• 2-4 years of warehousing experience; 1-2 years forklift preferred
• Experience with personal computer equipment preferred
• Experience driving material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Forklift) preferred
• Ability to use carrier's computer shipping system for processing, labeling and tracking packages
• Ability to work in a positive team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals

Responsibilities

• Read orders and pick/pack merchandise for shipment using forklift when needed
• Handle receiving and put-away functions as directed
• Load/unload, move, and stack products following safety guidelines
• Assemble and pack orders, place on pallets or bins
• Process orders using the carrier's online service
• Label packages and ensure hazmat shipping compliance
• Maintain clean, safe work area and assist in other warehouse areas as needed
