Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a dedicated forklift operator to safely move materials within the facility. You will operate LP powered trucks, follow schedules, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, supporting production, performing daily checks, and using RF scanners. A high school diploma, forklift certification, valid license, and at least two years’ forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state license and forklift certification required per OSHA.
• Two years of forklift operation experience.
• Ability to position forks over, under, or around loads.
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills.
• Attention to safety and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Obtain production schedule or shipping order and transport materials to designated areas.
• Provide raw materials or stock to production machines per schedule.
• Load/unload goods from truck and trailers.
• Move goods on slip sheets and pallets around the facility.
• Stack goods in storage bays following inventory procedures.
• Check loads are secure; remove waste materials from machines.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Use RF scanning equipment as required.
• Lubricate truck, refuel or replace liquefied gas.
• Keep radiator clear of dust and debris.
• Complete daily safety and maintenance checks per OSHA guidelines.
