Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to load, unload and move materials within the facility. You will operate powered industrial trucks to transport goods to designated areas, ensuring accurate handling and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include following production schedules, performing daily equipment checks, and supporting the production line by providing stock to machines while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
• May be required to use an RF scanner gun.
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.
• Class A license preferred, but not required.

Aufgaben

• Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines per the production schedule.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or slip sheets around the storage facility.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks on the Forklifts, per OSHA guidelines.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Dumping materials into machine hoppers.
• Any other job duties that may be assigned.
