Quality Auto & Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in the Phoenix area. The role focuses on operating sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.

You will assist with shipping/receiving, verify quantities, perform cycle counts, and help maintain accurate inventory. The position requires OSHA-compliant practices, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proof of current and valid Forklift Operator Certification.
• Must have 3+ years experience safely operating a forklift.
• Knowledge of mechanical principles and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with different types of forklifts, particularly sit-down forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a lift truck (primarily Sit-Down Forklifts) to move, stack, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting as required to load and unload materials.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking for damaged goods and verifying quantities.
• Utilize order picking systems to accurately fulfill orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the warehouse.
• Other tasks around the warehouse as needed.
