Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a forklift operator in Phoenix, AZ to transport donated goods using a sit-down forklift and follow safety policies. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inspections, and maintaining clean work areas while adhering to PPE requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ months forklift experience, English proficiency, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 6+ months experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Transport donated goods using a sit-down forklift.
• Safeguard company property and report incidents.
• Load/unload merchandise containers safely.
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and PPE compliance.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Sweep, dust, and clean areas around baling machines.
• Cross-train to support ROC departments as needed.
