Job summary
Concealed Coalition is seeking a Firearms Safety Instructor to educate participants on safe and responsible firearm use, storage, and handling. You will teach diverse learners, assess skills, and ensure compliance with safety standards and laws. This role emphasizes strong communication, safe environment, and ongoing certification maintenance. This position may involve coordinating with our Training Department and delivering engaging, hands-on sessions in our programs.
Qualifications
NRA, POST and USCCA certifications required.
Experience in firearms instruction and safety education.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Responsibilities
Deliver Concealed Coalition safety training to learners of all levels.
Instruct firearm handling, loading, unloading, and storage procedures.
Demonstrate safety protocols and target awareness.
Explain local, state, and federal firearm laws to students.
Promote a safety culture and responsible ownership.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated on firearms technologies and regulations.
Document training attendance, topics, and assessments.
Oversee range safety during training events as needed.
Operate training software: projector, TimeTap, Concur.
Sell Concealed Coalition memberships and firearms-related protections.
