Qualifications

• NRA, POST, USCCA certifications required
• 1+ year experience in sales, marketing, firearms instruction, or related field preferred
• Cognitive ability to plan, organize and follow through on tasks
• Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Proactive, resourceful problem solving and teamwork skills
• Maintain all instructor certifications during employment or contracting

Responsibilities

• Deliver Concealed Coalition training programs on firearm safety to a diverse student base
• Instruct on firearm handling, operation, and maintenance; cover loading/unloading, storage, techniques
• Emphasize safety protocols and range rules; teach target awareness and safe conduct
• Educate on local, state, and federal firearm laws and regulations
• Promote safety culture and responsible ownership within communities
• Assess student skills and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Stay updated on firearms tech, safety practices, and legislative changes
• Maintain training records and communicate effectively with students and department
• Oversee range safety during sessions and events when applicable
• Operate and troubleshoot training software and equipment (TimeTap, Concur, project setup)
• Sell Concealed Coalition memberships and Firearms Legal Protection memberships
