Job summary

W3Global is seeking a field inspector to perform inspection and testing of fire sprinkler systems in the Northwest. The role involves backflow and extinguisher certification where possible, plus physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting and climbing as necessary.

The successful candidate should have NICET II credentials or equivalent, knowledge of NFPA 10/25/72, and applicable state licenses. Travel and physical fitness are part of the job.

Qualifications

• NICET Level II certification in inspection and testing of water-based fire protection systems.
• Portland Fire Extinguisher License and sprinkler certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 10, 25 and 72 codes.
• WA E06 license a plus; LEA certification encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication; documentation proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems per applicable standards.
• Backflow prevention device certification preferred.
• Fire extinguisher certification preferred.
• Stand, walk and work with hands; perform manual tasks as required.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, climb and stoop as necessary.
