Job summary

Ironsmith Fire, LLC is seeking a fire sprinkler inspector to perform NFPA 25 inspections across commercial sites. The role includes testing sprinklers, hydrants, and backflow preventers, with daily reporting in our CRM and close collaboration with service teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' inspection experience, Backflow certification, and a valid driver's license. Travel, including overnights, is required to support customer needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years overall inspection and testing experience.
• Backflow Preventer Certification and related licenses.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, clients and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA 25 inspections of fire sprinkler systems at customer sites.
• Certify fire hydrants and backflow preventers as required.
• Document findings with photos and notes in Ironsmith Fire CRM.
• Prepare inspection reports and submit within 2 days of inspection.
• Collaborate with deficiency sales reps for repairs and proposals.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and equipment; follow safety protocols.
