Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Certified Electrician to install solar systems and storage for residential customers. This role involves wiring solar arrays, performing site inspections, and upgrading electrical panels while ensuring compliance with NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation and repair experience required.
• Experience wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
• Valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent per local/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation of electrical systems interconnecting solar arrays to the grid at residential properties.
• Ensure all workmanship meets NEC and local codes.
• Complete solar battery installations as assigned.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
• Plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
• Collaborate with branch teams and homeowners for system upgrades/repairs.
• Coordinate with local inspectors to meet requirements.
• 5% travel required.
