Brookview Health Care Center in Chambersburg, PA, is seeking a Lead Homemaker to oversee daily food service operations, ensure nutrition quality, and maintain sanitation standards in a caring long-term care setting.

The role requires a Certified Dietary Manager License, strong supervisory experience in culinary settings, excellent communication, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently. Full-time, exempt, daytime shift with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager License is required.
• One year of supervisory culinary experience in long-term care preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Ability to problem-solve and remain positive; able to work independently or on a team.
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience is highly desirable.

The Lead Homemaker will uphold the highest standards of quality nutrition, food production, and sanitation. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure support and oversight of the Homemakers.

Qualifications:

• Certified Dietary Manager License, required
• One (1) year of culinary experience in a supervisory field with exposure to long-term care household models, preferred
• High school diploma or GED, preferred
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or senior living, highly desirable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, required
• Strong organizational skills, required
• Ability to problem-solve, required
• Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude, required
• Must be a self-starter, able to work on a team and alone, required
