Job summary

Menno Haven at Home is seeking Caregivers to join our Home Care team in the Chambersburg area. This part-time, non-exempt role offers a flexible schedule and pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, transportation, companionship, and pet care in clients' homes. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and reliable smartphone access.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Required to use personal smartphone for essential work-related communication.
• Prior experience in Home Care, preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or senior living, highly desirable.
• Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work on a team and alone.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing and dressing).
• Light housekeeping chores and meal preparations.
• Medication reminders and transportation to appointments and errands.
• Companionship and pet care as needed.
• Other duties as assigned in client homes.
