Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to operate imaging equipment and assist radiologists in a fast-paced setting. You will perform abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies, ensure patient safety, document results, and support throughput across Baystate locations.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS certification, an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• ARDMS Certification.
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Minimum GED/HS Diploma required.
• Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and adjusting controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment per radiologist specifications and anatomy.
• Coordinate patient flow and document results accurately.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality checks and safety procedures.
• Assist radiologist in sterile procedures and ultrasound-guided exams.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to ensure high-quality exams.
