Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment, acquire and analyze images, and assist with a variety of imaging procedures. The role emphasizes safety standards, quality control, and accurate PACS submissions to support clinical diagnoses.

The candidate should have ARDMS certification, a Diagnostic Medical Sonography credential, and at least two years of relevant experience. Join a comprehensive radiology team dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have ARDMS certification.
• Minimum 2+ years' sonography experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Set up and adjust all equipment; manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implement safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Perform routine and complex sonographic studies and assist in imaging procedures.
• Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.
• Ensure equipment functions properly; report problems and lock/tag out equipment when needed.
• Submit high-quality images and patient data to PACS with correct markers.
• Maintain a clean, orderly department and storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
