Baystate Health is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. In this role, you will operate ultrasound equipment, perform a range of imaging procedures, and support protocol development while ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic results.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, maintaining equipment, and adhering to JC, MQSA, ACR, and CMS standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• ARDMS certification must be obtained within 6 months of graduation.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates excellent customer service and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, adjust controls per exam type to obtain diagnostic images.
• Maintain knowledge of procedures and anatomy to ensure high-quality exams.
• Identify patient information accurately and perform routine to specialized imaging procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate with radiology team to support throughput.
