Orlando Health, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support dermatology in an ambulatory setting. You will assist with examinations, in-office procedures and scribing during visits, working under physician or APP supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or verifiable work experience in patient care.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Maintains current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Candidates may be certified via listed MA cert agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with examinations, in-office procedures and excisions.
• Accurately scribe patient visits and procedures in real time.
• Provide patient data via interviews and observation for care.
• Coordinate scheduling and communication with patients for tests and consultations.
• Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
