Radiology Ltd. in Tucson, AZ seeks a full-time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to support radiology staff at multiple sites. Hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to Wilmot and La Cholla sites.

The CCMA assists radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast-paced team environment. The role involves preparing patients for exams, coordinating flow, monitoring post-procedure vitals, interviewing patients, documenting for nurses and physicians,

Qualifications

• CCMA certification required or in progress.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification preferred and required in safety sensitive roles.
• Strong patient service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow.
• Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
• Interview patient prior to exam and document for nurses, physicians and radiologists.
• Assist in patient education for scheduled exams.
• Monitor supplies and maintain confidentiality.
