Job summary

Radiology Ltd. in Tucson, AZ seeks a full-time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to support radiology staff at multiple sites. Hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to Wilmot and La Cholla sites.

The CCMA assists radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast-paced team environment. The role involves preparing patients for exams, coordinating flow, monitoring post-procedure vitals, interviewing patients, documenting for nurses and physicians,

Qualifications

CCMA certification required or in progress.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CPR certification preferred and required in safety sensitive roles.
Strong patient service orientation and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow.
Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
Interview patient prior to exam and document for nurses, physicians and radiologists.
Assist in patient education for scheduled exams.
Monitor supplies and maintain confidentiality.
