Radiology Ltd. in Tucson, AZ is hiring a full-time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to support radiology staff on site at the Alvernon location. Hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to Wilmot and La Cholla sites.

You will prepare patients for exams, monitor vitals, document prior to exams, assist nurses and technologists, and help educate patients. The role requires CCMA certification, strong communication, teamwork, and a compassionate approach

Qualifications

• Must be CCMA certified and provide certification.
• Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow.
• Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed.
• Responsible, reliable and empathetic.
• Prior medical office experience helpful.
• Active CPR certification.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow.
• Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
• Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists.
• Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams.
• Monitors supplies.
