All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking Certified Caregivers to provide in-home care across multiple Washington locations including Lakewood, Tacoma, and University Place. The role involves helping clients with daily activities, meals, mobility, medications, and transportation, while delivering compassionate companionship.

Qualified candidates hold a HCA or CNA license, have a valid driver’s license, and can meet background check requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually).
• Ability to meet background check requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to handle confidential information.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal caregiving services in the client’s home.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supports personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients.
• Prepares meals and assists with special diets.
• Performs general housekeeping and household support.
• Provides compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assists with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Administers medications as delegated per state regulations.
• Assists with Passive Range of Motion as trained.
• Supports vital signs for informational purposes only as guided.
• Maintains accurate communication with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client’s home
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Supports the personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients
• Prepares meals and assists with special diets
• Performs general housekeeping and household support activities
• Provides compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assists with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
• Administers medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations, including completion of Nurse Delegation Core and/or Nurse Delegation Diabetes certifications when required
• Assists with Passive Range of Motion activities when properly credentialed and trained
• Offers limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes only, in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintains accurate communication and reporting changes in client condition to the appropriate care team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work responsibly with confidential information
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgment
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
