Merrill Gardens at Anthem in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Senior Living Caregiver for the 2pm–10pm shift. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and help maintain a respectful, dignified living environment.

We seek compassionate individuals with caregiver training or AZ certification (or two years experience) and a willingness to obtain first aid/CPR within 30 days. Full-time roles include comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• AZ Caregiver certification or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
