Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Madison is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver for PRN shifts to support residents in our Alabama community. Help with daily living activities, medication management as allowed by state, and keep detailed progress notes.

Qualifications

• Caregiver role requiring compassionate, patient care for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, meals, laundry).
• Manage medications as allowed by state and document progress daily.
• Complete daily progress reports for residents as required.

Our Caregivers:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
