Job summary

Empower Behavior Solutions is hiring Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in in-home or school-based settings, with the potential to grow into hybrid or virtual roles.

Starting pay offers in-person $25.00–$28.00/hour and virtual $23.00–$25.00/hour, with flexible schedules and ongoing supervision from experienced BCBAs to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CBT certification is REQUIRED.
• Applicants without WA CBT certification will NOT be contacted.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data.
• Reliable transportation for in-person services.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
• Willingness to begin with in-person services.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to client care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA.
• Begin with in-home and/or school-based services.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs.
• Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session.
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families.
• As virtual opportunities become available, potentially provide hybrid or virtual ABA services.
• Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

We are looking for CBTs who are willing to begin with an in-person home or school-based client in their area.

As our virtual program continues to roll out, CBTs who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and clinical readiness may have opportunities to transition into hybrid or virtual services as those cases become available.

Virtual services are not guaranteed at the time of hire and are not necessarily the initial assignment.

Current Opportunity

• Location: Washington State
• Starting Setting: In-home and/or school-based
• In-Person Pay: $25.00–$28.00/hour
• Virtual Pay: $23.00–$25.00/hour
• Schedule: Flexible, based on client availability. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases when schedules and locations align

What You'll Need

Required

• Previous ABA therapy experience
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data
• Reliable transportation for in-person services
• Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
• Willingness to begin with in-person services
• Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to client care

Preferred

• Previous telehealth ABA experience
• Previous in-home or school-based ABA experience
• Two or more years of experience working with children
• Interest in hybrid or virtual ABA services
