Job summary

Empower Behavior Solutions in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking a part-time Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in homes and schools. Expect about 20 hours per week with potential to grow as families request more hours.

You’ll work under BCBA supervision, implement treatment plans, collect data, and collaborate with families and school staff. This role offers competitive pay, supportive supervision, and opportunities for hybrid or virtual cases as our program expands.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CBT certification is REQUIRED.
• Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to client locations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs.
• Deliver services at client homes and/or schools.
• Collect accurate session data and document in Rethink within 24 hours.

We provide high-quality ABA services designed to help children build meaningful skills, increase independence, and reach their full potential.

This position provides 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and school settings. We do not provide clinic-based services.

Current Opportunity

• Schedule:Approximately 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases when schedules and locations align

• Setting:Preschool

• Days/Times:M-F 8-12

• Preferred Candidate:Open to all qualified CBTs

• Pay:$25.00–$28.00/hour

What You'll Do

• Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

What You'll Need

Required

• Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification — REQUIRED

• Applicants without an active WA State CBT certification will not be contacted or considered

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data

• Reliable transportation to the client’s location

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed

• Willingness to provide in-person services

Preferred

• Previous ABA therapy experience

• Two or more years of experience working with children

• Interest in future hybrid or virtual ABA opportunities
