Job summary

Empower Behavior Solutions is seeking a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) in Gig Harbor, WA for 20 hours/week of in-home and school-based ABA therapy. Pay is $25.00–$28.00/hour with opportunities for hybrid or virtual cases as the program grows.

You will receive ongoing supervision from experienced BCBAs and RBT certification support. The role requires active WA CBT certification, reliability, and the ability to work with a preschool-age client.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CBT certification — REQUIRED.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data.
• Reliable transportation to the client's location.
• Willingness to provide in-person services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in future hybrid or virtual ABA opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs.
• Deliver services in the client's home and/or school.
• Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session.
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

We provide high-quality ABA services designed to help children build meaningful skills, increase independence, and reach their full potential.

This position provides 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and school settings. We do not provide clinic-based services.

We're currently seeking aCertified Behavior Technicianto provide services in Gig Harbor for a 4 year-old client in a preschool setting.

Schedule:Approximately 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases when schedules and locations align

Days/Times:M-F 8-12

Preferred Candidate:Open to all qualified CBTs

Pay:$25.00–$28.00/hour

Interested in additional or future virtual hours?As our virtual program continues to develop, CBTs who establish themselves successfully with in-person services may have opportunities to take onhybrid or virtual casesas they become available.

What You'll Need

Required

Applicants without an active WA State CBT certification will not be contacted or considered

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data

Reliable transportation to the client's location

Strong communication and organizational skills

Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed

Willingness to provide in-person services

Preferred

Previous ABA therapy experience

Two or more years of experience working with children

Interest in future hybrid or virtual ABA opportunities
