Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our student athletes and service contracted schools, including Renaissance Academy Charter School. The role offers PRN hours with scheduling aligned to coverage needs and availability.

The position requires a B.S. degree, NATA-BOC certification, CPR certification, and a state license where required. Preferred candidates may hold a Master's degree.

Qualifications

• BS degree in athletic training or related field.
• NATA-BOC certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• State license where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for contracted schools and student athletes.
• Coordinate access to additional health care as needed.
• Develop and implement athletic training programs for injured athletes.
• Assess injuries and administer on-site care during games/practices.
• Assist with EMS coordination and emergency procedures.

Compensation: $40.00 - $55.00, hourly, based on years of experience

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their student athletes. This position will be supporting Renaissance Academy Charter School. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

• Design and implement specific therapeutic programs for injured athletes' rehabilitation
• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support, to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
