Job summary

HealthWorks in Morgantown, WV is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to serve contracted schools on a per diem basis. You’ll coordinate access to health care for athletes and craft schedules around your availability, starting at $35/hr based on experience.

The role emphasizes safe, athlete-centered care, emergency coordination, and ongoing outreach to promote healthy, active lifestyles. A BS with NATA-BOC, CPR, and state licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field (AT).
• NATA-BOC certification and CPR certification.
• Applicable state athletic trainer license.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Assess and document athlete response within the plan of care.
• Manage emergencies and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures.
• Promote HealthWorks through outreach events and community engagement.
• Provide coverage for contracted schools per schedule.

Schedule: Weekdays/Weekends as needed
Compensation: Starting at $35/hr, based on years of experience

HealthWorks is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes. In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. • Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (taping, wrapping, bracing, hydration and minor wound care)

• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
