Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in West Grove, PA is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to service contracted high schools, including Kennett High School and/or Avon Grove High School. This PRN position offers per diem hours and schedules that vary based on coverage needs.

The role focuses on providing athletic training care, coordinating access to additional health care for student-athletes, and designing rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training required.
• NATA-BOC certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to contracted high schools.
• Coordinate access to health care for student-athletes.
• Develop and implement therapeutic rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
• Perform on-site prevention, taping, bracing, hydration coaching, and wound care as needed.
• Assist in emergency procedures and coordinate EMS as required.

Compensation: $40.00 - $55.00, hourly, based on years of experience

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position will be supporting Kennett High School and/or Avon Grove High School. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support, to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required

• Master's degree
