Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Indianapolis is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to service contracted schools in the Indianapolis market. You will provide care for athletes, coordinate access to healthcare, and create schedules that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• NATA-BOC Board of Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement athletic training programs for injured athletes.
• Determine and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Coordinate EMS and acute care procedures when needed.
• Promote outreach and participate in events to represent the company.

Compensation: $35.00 hourly

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and coordinate access to additional healthcare for their athletes. This position will be supporting contracted schools in/around the Indianapolis market. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.

• Determine the need for and administer proper athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to decrease risk of injury (techniques can include taping, wrapping, bracing, proper hydration and minor wound care)
• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures, including basic life support, to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications
