Job summary

Xcelerate Physical Therapy in Newtown Square, PA is seeking an athletic trainer to perform comprehensive injury assessments, develop and implement rehab plans, and provide emergency care as needed for student-athletes and patients.

You will collaborate with team physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure athlete health and safety, maintain detailed records, and contribute to injury prevention and performance improvement programs at our outpatient clinic.

Qualifications

• NATA-BOC certification is required.
• PA license or eligibility to practice athletic training.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, coaches and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive injury assessments and evaluations using appropriate clinical examination techniques
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for injured athletes
• Provide immediate emergency medical care and injury management in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with team physicians, coaching staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal athlete health and safety
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation for all athlete evaluations and treatments
• Design and implement injury prevention programs and conditioning protocols to enhance athlete performance and reduce injury risk
• Educate athletes on proper injury prevention techniques, recovery strategies, and return-to-play guidelines
• Monitor athlete health status and provide ongoing support during practices, competitions, and team events
• Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policies
• Communicate effectively with athletes, coaching staff, and medical personnel regarding injury status and treatment progress

Qualifications

• NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Pennsylvania or license eligible
• Ability to work closely with all clinic staff to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and be part of a world-class clinical team
• Outgoing and energetic personality
