Job summary

Xcelerate Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in Newtown Square, PA. You will work with athletes on-field and off-field, develop rehab plans, provide immediate EMS, and collaborate with physicians and coaches to safeguard athlete health.

Qualifications

• NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer required.
• Licensed as Athletic Trainer in PA or license eligible.
• Ability to work closely with clinic staff to improve relationships, morale and productivity.
• Outgoing and energetic personality essential for team integration.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive injury assessments and evaluations using appropriate clinical examination techniques
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for injured athletes
• Provide immediate emergency medical care and injury management per established protocols
• Collaborate with team physicians, coaching staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure athlete health and safety
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation for all evaluations and treatments
• Design and implement injury prevention programs and conditioning protocols to enhance performance and reduce injury risk
• Educate athletes on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and return-to-play guidelines
• Manage athletic training equipment, supplies, and facilities to meet safety and operational standards
• Monitor athlete health status and provide ongoing support during practices and competitions
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and organizational policies
• Communicate effectively with athletes, coaching staff, and medical personnel regarding injury status and treatment progress
