University of Delaware is seeking an Athletic Trainer I to assist with all aspects of athletic training for NCAA Division I programs, spirit teams, and designated club sports. You will support rehabilitation, injury evaluation, documentation, and on-site coverage under the supervision of the Athletic Trainer II.
The role includes supervising athletic training students, coordinating with sports medicine doctors, coaches, and staff, and providing medical coverage during practices and competitions.
The Athletic Trainer I, at the University of Delaware is a valued member within the University and Department of Athletics, Community & Campus Recreation (DACCR), upholding and embracing the departmental mission of Achieving Excellence Together. Under the general direction of the Athletic Trainer II (Associate AT), the Athletic Trainer I position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of athletic training for an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics program, spirit program and designated club sport program including, but not limited to rehabilitation of athletic injuries/illnesses, injury evaluation, management, and documentation, treatment/preparation for practices and competitions, on-site coverage, supervision of athletic training students, and assigned team travel.
Performs job-related duties as assigned.
