Job summary

The University of Delaware seeks an Athletic Trainer I to support NCAA Division I programs by delivering rehabilitation, injury evaluation, and on-site coverage for practices and competitions.

Under the supervision of the Athletic Trainer II, this role includes supervising students, maintaining records, and coordinating with sports medicine staff while upholding UD's commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training required.
• Two years of hands-on experience or a Master's degree with related hands-on experience preferred.
• NATA/BOC certification and Delaware licensure eligibility required or anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and delivers treatment/rehabilitation programs for student athletes.
• Provides medical emergency coverage and on-site athletic training for practices and events.
• Supervises athletic training students and coordinates with sports medicine staff.
