Job summary

Premise Health in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer to care for client employees in our on-site Health Center. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, providing a stable weekday routine with no weekend work.

You will develop early intervention programs, perform musculoskeletal exams, lead group and individual training, and collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Current certification with hands-on training in CPR/BLS/ACLS or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; ACLS may be required based on scope.
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred.
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred.
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement early intervention programs including comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations and injury prevention education.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs.
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate, up-to-date information.
• Participate in meetings and task forces.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Huntsville, AL. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday, 11:00AM-7:30PM. A great opportunity for an Athletic Trainer looking for a consistent weekday schedule in an occupational health setting with no weekends!

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
• Participate in meetings and task forces
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred
