Job summary

Premise Health in El Segundo, CA seeks a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer-Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist to provide on-site care for client employees at our Health Center. Shifts are 8am-4pm or 12pm-8pm, Monday through Friday.

You will conduct musculoskeletal examinations, lead movement training and ergonomic assessments, coordinate with medical and safety teams, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in athletic training required.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Hands-on BLS certification required; ACLS may be required.
• Ergonomic Specialty certification preferred.
• Experience in Occupational Health, Safety, and Ergonomics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement early intervention program including musculoskeletal examinations and injury prevention education.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement and job simulation for injury prevention.
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure up-to-date information.
• Participate in meetings and task forces.

As a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer-Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in El Segundo, CA. The scheduled hours are M-F, Two shifts: 8am-4pm OR Noon-8pm.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
• Participate in meetings and task forces
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $31.20 - $39.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
