Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Blue Springs, MS is seeking a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer – Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist to care for client employees at our on-site Health Center.

Enjoy a four-day workweek with four 10-hour shifts and a flexible start time between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM. You will develop injury prevention programs, perform musculoskeletal examinations, lead movement training, and coordinate care with on-site medical and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential and Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training.
• Current hands-on training in Basic Life Support (AHA/ARC) is required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• Ergonomic Specialty certification is a plus.
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; OSHA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement injury prevention programs.
• Perform musculoskeletal examinations and provide first aid per OSHA standards; educate on injury prevention.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement and job simulation.
• Coordinate care with on-site medical and safety teams; document assessments and outcomes.
• Maintain health records and participate in meetings and task forces.

As a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer-Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Blue Springs, MS. Enjoy a 4-day workweek with four 10-hour shifts and a flexible start time between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
• Participate in meetings and task forces
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred
