Qualifications

• Strong ability to diagnose problems quickly and perform repairs independently.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric hot water heaters.
• Troubleshoot and repair electric furnaces.
• Servicing gas furnaces at designated properties.
• Appliance repair and replacement.
• Minor plumbing repairs and installations.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete maintenance service requests efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to company standards.
• Assist with community upkeep and property appearance.
• Respond to maintenance priorities as assigned by management.

Position Details

Location: Timonium, MD 21093

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break (7.5 paid hours per day)

Employment Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and community facilities while ensuring excellent resident satisfaction. Daily duties may include:

• Diagnosing and repairing electric hot water heaters
• Troubleshooting and repairing electric furnaces
• Servicing gas furnaces at designated properties
• Appliance repair and replacement
• Minor plumbing repairs and installations
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Completing maintenance service requests efficiently and professionally
• Performing preventative maintenance inspections
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and according to company standards
• Assisting with community upkeep and property appearance

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Previous experience working in a multifamily apartment maintenance environment

Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) designation preferred or equivalent maintenance experience

Strong experience with:

• Electric hot water heaters
• Electric furnaces
• Gas furnaces
• Appliance repair
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting

Ability to diagnose problems quickly and perform repairs independently

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and materials as required

Commitment to workplace safety and professional conduct

Screening Requirements
