Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Anesthesiologist assistant program accredited by CA AHEP required.
NCCAA certification required.
Current state licensure as an AA required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients of all ages and obtain pre-anesthetic history.
Perform pre-anesthetic exam and document findings clearly.
Interpret labs and diagnostic studies as appropriate.
Assist in anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery.
Assist in monitoring techniques and intraoperative care.
Train staff on monitors and participate in rounds.
