Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients of any age and obtain a pre-anesthetic health history.
• Perform pre-anesthetic physical examination and document data for review.
• Obtain and interpret diagnostic studies as appropriate (e.g., arterial/venous blood samples).
• Establish noninvasive and invasive monitoring modalities as directed.
• Assist in induction, maintenance, and depth adjustment of anesthesia; provide perioperative care.
• Assist with airway management and ventilatory support.
• Record progress notes, case summaries, and orders; participate in post-anesthesia rounds.
