Vituity in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Certified Anesthesiology Assistant to join a dedicated anesthesia team. You will evaluate patients, perform pre-operative assessments, assist in induction and monitoring, and support post-anesthesia care across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Completion of an AA program accredited by the ACHEA or successor.
• Certification from the NCCAA required.
• Current state licensure as an anesthesiologist assistant required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients of any age and obtain pre-anesthetic history and exam.
• Interpret diagnostic labs and perform arterial/venous sampling as appropriate.
• Establish monitoring modalities as delegated by the anesthesiologist.
• Assist in induction, maintenance and adjustment of anesthesia and recovery care.
• Perform regional anesthesia and assist in ICU/pain clinics as needed.
• Train and supervise staff in monitors and documentation.
