Job summary

The CBDM Certification Manager will assist the Executive Director in the day-to-day operation of the certification program and serve as the primary liaison with other departments. The role requires handling escalation of issues and ensuring accurate, timely information for candidates and credential holders.

The position reports to the Executive Director, supervises two staff, and involves travel to periodic meetings in the Chicago area and two CBDM face-to-face meetings annually, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum five years professional experience in foodservice/dietetics or certification industry.
• RDN, CDM, CFPP or ICE-CCP credential required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the exam application process with providers.
• Manage CE audit operations and certification appeals.
• Lead writer recruitment and coordination with exam services provider.
• Ensure compliance with NCCA standards and CBDM policies.
• Supervise Certification Coordinator team of two.
• Maintain consistent messaging across CBDM and ANFP communications.
