Swanktek, INC is seeking a Certification Engineer based in Everett, WA, onsite. The role focuses on embedded software analysis, DO-178B/C testing, and certification documentation to support FAA/EASA approvals.

The candidate will work on framework creation for partitioning, unit and hardware/software testing, and audit support, coordinating with DERs and certification stakeholders to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded software analysis including memory leaks and partitioning.
• Hands-on DO-178B/C testing framework development and execution.
• Familiarity with FAA/EASA certification processes and certification documents.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute software verification and validation per DO-178B/C.
• Prepare and review Certification Documentation Packages (CDP) including SVP/PSAC.
• Support DERs during FAA/EASA certification audits and activities.
• Perform software and hardware partitioning and dead code analysis.

Certification Engineer

Job Description:

The candidate should have very good experience in Embedded software which includes analysis of code, Memory leak , dynamic memory, static memory, Object code, watchdog timer, software and hardware partioning, Dead code, deactivated code etc...

Testing experience: The candidate should have very good experience in Embedded software testing using DO178B/C which includes frame work creation using partioning, unit testing, Hardware software testing, Software Software testing, Test plan, Test procedure, Structural coverage analysis, Worst case analysis DO-178B/C (Software knowledge is must) Hand-on Certification Documents preparation Hands on All SAS (Software Accomplishment Summary) Review checklists such as SDP, SVP, PSAC, LLR, HLR, SCI, SCMP and SVMP. SOI1 to SoI4 Audit (Stage of Involvement) Hands-on exp Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) support Must have experience FAA/EASA Certification.
