Job summary

Swanktek in Everett, WA, is looking for a Certification Engineer who will focus on embedded software analysis and testing. The position requires strong knowledge of DO178B/C standards and experience in FAA/EASA Certification processes.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with SAS review checklists and provide support to Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs). This is a full-time onsite position.

Qualifications

• Very good experience in Embedded software including analysis of code and memory management.
• Hands-on experience in DO178B/C compliance testing.
• Familiarity with FAA/EASA Certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and test embedded software frameworks in compliance with DO178B/C.
• Prepare certification documents and conduct SAS review checklists.
• Support Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) and participate in audits.

Job Description:

The candidate should have very good experience in Embedded software which includes analysis of code, Memory leak , dynamic memory, static memory, Object code, watchdog timer, software and hardware partioning, Dead code, deactivated code etc...

Testing experience:

The candidate should have very good experience in Embedded software testing using DO178B/C which includes frame work creation using partioning, unit testing, Hardware software testing, Software Software testing, Test plan, Test procedure, Structural coverage analysis, Worst case analysis

DO-178B/C (Software knowledge is must)

Hand-onCertification Documents preparation

Hands on All SAS (Software Accomplishment Summary) Review checklists such as SDP, SVP, PSAC, LLR, HLR, SCI, SCMP and SVMP.

SOI1 to SoI4 Audit (Stage of Involvement)

Hands-onexp Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) support

Must have experience FAA/EASA Certification.
